Working Girl

So I started a new job today at an insurance company. I cried before work, after work, and teared up during work. I have no idea what I'm doing. I don't know the software we use, and I don't know the subject matter at ALL. At least I don't have to be on my feet all day like at my last job. As always, I look forward to the day when I can quit. The story of my life.

You will figure it out. You are smart. It is always overwhelming at the beginning of any new thing. Talk to Steph and she can possibly give you some help with your questions, too. It was all overwhelming for her at the start, too.

I know, its so intimidating to start a new job. You'll pick it up and be amazing. I felt the same way when I started here. I still have no idea what everyone else is doing. The subject matter is way over my head but I just don't care anymore. :)

EWW, I hate starting new jobs. Hang in there, it's not like you will be working there for the rest of your life. It's just a now thing.

Remember when you went to Nolan and you hated it at first and you cried all the time? Yeah, it's like that. You'll end up liking it- or at least being content with it. And I agree about the software- YOU of all people are a computer genius/nerd, so you'll figure it out. Good luck. Call me if you want to chat and cry- I'm emotional right now, so let me know when is good for you! :)

Well, I wrote a comment yesterday but for some reason, it didn't show. I can't add to what's been written, great advice! I just know you're going to be fine, you always settle down after a time of worrying. Love you! mom
