This post reminded me of sad elementary school days and reasons why I don't want more than one daughter. But the ending was very good and hopefully true.

that just about broke my heart..... :( girls CAN be very mean. i can't imagine being a mom and having to listen to that. i loved that entry she wrote though, what a special gift for her daughter later. great example.
What a beautiful mom, inside and out! I totaly agree with learning your value NOT from the world's view point. Kari, I felt bad when you said it reminded you of sad school memories. I guess we all had them at some point actually. I liked the bow on the one girl's arm. I'm so mad we didn't take a family pic when we were together at Thanksgiving. Where is my brain??
Shane read this and then told me about his girls and their struggles this way. It is hard to raise girls for this reason. It breaks my heart to see my grand daughters struggle with it now, too. They grow up and grow past this. I am so blessed to have my girls...All of them.

what a sweet mommy. I think it would be hard to raise girls. I'm with you, I would only want one girl.
