When my mom was pregnant, the doctors always thought she was having twins cause she was so big. They even scheduled the c-section for Ryan a whole month early because they thought she was a month farther along than she really was (and yes, they went through with it). I guess it's genetic because my doctor measured my uterus today and said, "You have a giant baby." Would that be good news to anyone? Crap.

My Dr. told me Brinley would be 8+ pounds, she was 5.
go watch JUNO. her humor will cheer you up! ;)
I agree with the Juno comment.
You'll be just fine. (And I'm just saying this to comfort you, because when I read that post the entire time I was thinking... "HOLY crap!")
Good luck!
Miller was just shy of 9 pounds and he came 8 days early! AFTER he was born my doctor said, "You should NEVER go full-term with any of your babies." Thanks lady!!
i'm sorry to hear that! i'm afraid it's b/c you are so little! where the crap is it supposed to go you know? i remember someone told me when i still had months left with Kade that they thought i was 1) due any day..which i *wasn't or 2) having twins also... people suck sometimes. hope your giant baby will be nice to you! take it as a compliment that you are a petite woman i guess! :)
I have had several friends tell me that their doctors say their baby is going to be much bigger than it turns out to be. But the good news is if you are measuring bigger then they will probably induce you sooner. :)
I am seriously worried about having a giant baby as well. Considering that my husband is 6'2", I think it is inevitable.
I think that all Doctors must do that to get you a little worked up. Or maybe just their crazy way of making a joke, because my Doctor would always say that and I had friends who said the same thing. :).
