Lack of blogging and amazing people

Wow, I have been on a huuuuge blogging break, haven't I? I kind of see blogging as a huge drag, but I feel like I have to do it because it's cool to look back at later. It's kind of journalish but without the deep thoughts and feelings like, "I ♥ Matt! He is sooooo cute!" And sometimes my blog is somewhere for me to put cool stuff that I doesn't fit on facebook or pinterest.

Speaking of cool stuff, some people are amazing. You know how Facebook is going over to the timeline thing? I was thinking about how I can't do a cool connecting picture thing now without the picture tiles at the top, but man are there cool things you can do with the new layout. You just have to think outside the box.

You can watch people walking/posing like in the picture, and it's kind of funny. Right when I started watching, a couple started posing and taking pictures. Now it's 11:30pm so no one is really around, but I'm going to have to check back tomorrow.

These people have my heart

My friend Jen sent me a link to The best obnoxious responses to misspellings on Facebook. I'd seen it before, but I guess it gets updated occasionally, so there were many more that made me laugh this time. You can go read the whole thing if you're a nerd like me, or just read my favorites below.

Have you heard of Pinterest yet? You can browse other people's pins or add things you find on a website. It's kind of like saving your favorites, along with a picture. See? Here's mine:

Grammar Girl. (sigh)

I love Grammar Girl. I'm a fan of her on facebook, and she often makes my heart go pitter-patter when I read her posts. Today she posted her Christmas cards. While I don't really remember how to diagram, I still think they're funny.

11/2 Update: I had an overwhelming response from one person. So here's another updated background.

I never blog, then I blog a lot. Blog's a verb, right?

As I was perusing different ways to do a chalkboard in a kitchen, I saw this one and laughed. My favorite part is the bottom, second-from-the-right-if-you're-only-looking-at-the-ones-written-on or third-from-the-right-if-you're-looking-at-them-all cabinet.

A whole cabinet for bug spray? And another one for ashtrays?

No Biggie

One of the bazillion blogs I follow is No Biggie, but it's one that I usually always read instead of just skim. Sometimes she gives tips about different things, and today she wrote a techy tip for bloggers. You should read it and follow through because I love when someone's email is connected to the comment she leaves. (Yeah, I said she!)

Also check out the rest of her Quick Tips on her menu. I now always open my dishwasher when I use cooking spray.

Thanks to Blogger's new ability to beautify your blog, Beck's blog is much more attractive than it was before. And it's more attractive than this one too. I expect to be seeing prettier, less scrapbooky blogs! Yesssss.
