we both lived in cobblecreek apartments, and I assume we met in august/september in the year of our lord 2004. he was roommates with my friend dustin, and when I was in dustin's room (signing up for institute...look how spiritual i am...oh wait, i never went) and said, "Your roommate seems weird. He has a fish pillow."

matt walked up while he was on the phone, and james told me to kiss him on the mouth,
so i did, and then it occurred to me that he might be talking to this chick keia that he was
dating at the time, so I said, "Is that keia?!" but it wasn't. So keia, if you ever read this, you
now know the truth. and any of keia's family, you might not want to tell her.

play racquetball (but we haven't played in over a year but we DO like it), go out to eat
(i like that, i don't know if he does. he doesn't appreciate food like i do.)

This is hard

1. I have a really bad temper. I think only my mom and Matt have ever really seen it, and boy have they seen it. Especially Matt. (early marriage. it sucks pretty bad.) Sorry Mattchew. I still feel the feelings of intense fury with other people, I guess I just don't let it out. But inside, I'm like, "%^&*I YOU STUPID &$#@*&^%#$^&*&$#%$#*&%$#@#$%&%!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

2. I'm very intrigued by death. I really like findadeath.com. I don't even mind seeing dead people as long as their brains/intestines aren't spilling out everywhere. I'm pretty into Kurt Cobain and if he really killed himself. If you go to findadeath, you'll find out why some people don't think he really did it. Especially from his "suicide" note. I really don't understand people that don't like to talk about death. It's a part of life, people. Everyone dies. Everyone you know will die. YOU will even die. So might as well get over it.

3. I don't ever borrow books that I'm going to read because I want to accumulate my own books and have a nice, big library. Maybe I'll have one of those sliding ladder things like Belle slides around on in Beauty and the Beast.

4. I know everything. About NOTHING. And I tend to make people feel stupid cause I can never believe that people don't know what I know, and I say things like, "How do you not know that?!" I'm rude, I know. I'm trying to be better. But seriously. How do you all NOT know that?

5. I just realized my pants are on inside out. If you don't know why this is really funny, read this and this.

6. I get really annoyed when pregnant women complain about being pregnant. It might've started before this, but I feel like it really started when I watched Juno and Jennifer Garner's character was sad when she couldn't experience what Juno was experiencing. I hope my sensitivity to this issue isn't a sign for the future... So ladies, please be gentle when talking about the not-so-fun things about pregnancy. Some women would kill to experience that crappiness.

7. I like to make up my own words. Like crappiness. And apparently might've (once again, Firefox is telling me it's not correct.) Making up words that make sense is ok. But as we all know, bad grammar is NEVER ok. Except when it comes to capitalization. And when I make mistakes. the following picture is me when I was skinny and hot.

10 years ago: I was almost 13 and in the summer after my 7th grade year. I had a horrible horrible experience switching schools for 7th grade, so I was extremely scared to start 8th grade. I went to Cedar Creek Lake with Rachel Blackshear & her parents that summer.

5 years ago I was about to turn 18, and I just graduated from Nolan. I worked at Friday's Front Row for a couple months until I decided to quit since I cried every night after I got home. I was about to move to Utah State for my freshman year of college.

5 months ago I was working at DownEast Home and hating my manager. I might've quit that month.

5 things on my to do list: try to finish some quotes, bind some policies, open some mail, paint the walls in the downstairs bathroom, paint the beadboard in the bathroom.

5 snacks: crackers, dried apple things, applesauce, chips, jello

5 billionaire things: buy a house in London, live in london, when I'm done there, buy a house in NC or Texas, buy a Range Rover, pay for RR's gas.

What is his name? Matthew Glade

How did you meet? he was my friend's roommate.

What attracted you to him? i think it was just cause he was cute. but i didn't think that when i first met him.

How long have you been married? it will be two years in...two weeks and four days.

How long did you date? we got married on our 8 month anniversary...or close to it.

How old is he? 27

Who eats more? definitely me. I eat out of enjoyment; he eats out of necessity.

Who said "I love you first"? i did, and he said it back in the same way i said it.

Who is smarter? depends on what it's about. he really does not understand anything that has to do with words. but he has this natural knowledge of everything religion. except for gay issues...i'm asking questions that he finally can't answer.

What is something you really love about him? I'm very grateful that he is a hard worker. And I'm glad that he isn't a macho man...he may take that the wrong way if he ever sees this. He's not afraid to do things like let me paint his toenails. If he ever does see this, he'll say, "Kari! Why'd you write THAT!?" but he won't really care. That's another thing.

Whose temper is worse? mine but i'm a lot better now.

Who does the laundry? me mostly. and that is why it is still not folded.

Who does the dishes? i do it a lot. he's really bad about leaving dishes out. how hard is it to just put them in the dishwasher? he's getting better though.

Missy Elliot Saunders tagged me, so I will try to do my best to get interesting things for you to read.

1. My nose sweats when I eat Starburst. Brandon said it had to do with the sugar or something, but I think it has something to do with the tartness. Yep, tartness. I've had the nose sweat with other tart stuff too.

2. I love the Backstreet Boys song "I want it that way." I love to sing the part where Nick goes, "tell me whyyyyyyyyyyyy" really high towards the end. Thanks, Stacy, for getting me their Millenium cd and 98 degrees for my birthday one year...

3. I become "friends" with people on facebook who I don't like, but I want to look at their pages. I am also in the groups titled "Just because we are facebook friends does not mean i like you in real life" and "I keep people I hate as friends just so I can look at their profiles." So true! Don't worry, I like 99.7% of my friends on there.

4. I have a thing for New England and (old) England. I'm dying to live in both places. I think I married Matt because he went on his mission to England. All the females in my mom's family went to London for a day and a half one summer on our way to Italy, and I wanted to stay there the whole time. I need to go back. Matt says I won't like it if we move there, but what does he know? Who wants to move there with us?

5. I do chores from 10pm and later. I guess I need the whole day to build my momentum to do that stuff. In my house in Texas I would do really weird things at 1 in the morning like pull out the wood cleaner and go around the living room that was upstairs by my room and clean all the doors and the wood that went half way up the walls. And of course everything that was wood in my own room. Matt and I have opposite schedules. He wakes up at crazy times in the morning and then dies around 10 at night, and 10 at night is just when I wake up!

So since it's our engagement anniversary and close to Valentine's Day, I present you with a survery about Matt. I was not tagged, but I wanted to do it, so I will.

What is his full name? Matthew Glade

How long have you been married? a little over a year and a half. three months until 2 years.

How long did you date? we got married on our 8 month anniversary. don't worry, we knew each other a year before we got together. i had to remind myself that while i was engaged.

Who eats more sweets? me, can't you tell?

Who said I love you first? I did, but he said it right after.

How old is he? 27. what an old man.

Who is taller? he is by at least a whole foot

Who is smarter? depends. he's smarter when it comes to grammar, and i'm smarter when it comes to construction. haha maybe it's the other way around.

Who can sing better? he can. i'm terrible unless it comes to rock band. I'm pretty much amazing.

Who does the laundry? mostly me.

Who pays the bills? both of us. i do most of the house bills, he does his car and cell phone or whatever. he usually does the mortgage.

Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? i do.

Who mows the lawn? we don't have to mow our lawn. the joys of a condo.

Who cooks dinner? usually the people at the fast food resaurants.

Who drives? he does 99% of the time.

Who is more stubborn? i am.

Who kissed who first? hmm that is a tricky question. ever? i kissed him. just cause my friend told me to as i was leaving their apartment.

Who asked who out? there was no asking. our relationship probably sounds odd to you. it started out in an odd way.

Who has more siblings? he has one more than i do.

Temperature Today: fricken freezing. according to weather.com it's 27 but feels like 20. i just LOVE utah winter. not. 3 Interesting Things About Our Neighbors: i swear one of the girls that lives next to us is a lesbian. not that there is anything wrong with that. the guy across the street acts like we're blocking his car if we are a mile away from it. the lady across the street lets her pregnant belly hang out. 4. My Facts:
1. I chew the inside of my mouth all the time. I will probably have odd wrinkles at an early age because of it. My friend told me that I can get cancer from it because of the cells and I'm not sure what else. I'm not scientist, but I don't know if I buy it. I can't help but do it, and I don't look very attractive while I'm doing it either.
2. I broke my wrist, then broke it again in a whole different way 9 days after getting my first cast off. The first time I did a backbend at gymnastics after my friend Stacy did one. I didn't know how to do one, so that was stupid. After I did it, I started biting my wrist cause it hurt (I was trying to make it feel better), and Stacy was copying what I was doing...I'm not sure why. Then the second time I broke it was my brother's fault. (The first time was Stacy's fault haha.) He would pretend to go under the coffee table to where I was sitting on the couch to kiss me, so I kept moving farther away from him until I was sitting on the back of the couch and I fell off. I went out to my dad, he felt my wrist and said, "You broke it AGAIN!" Oops. Thanks Brandon. :)
3. I can't help but judge people that use grammar incorrectly or misspell easy words. Hopefully I spelled misspell right. haha. obviously i don't care about capitalizing "i" in things like this. The things I really hate are when people say things like, "Me and Ryan went to the mall." Another one that bugs me is, "Where are you at?" Also, periods and commas go INSIDE quotation marks! Such as this."
4. I was once in love with practically all of ryan's friends when he was in high school. He played varsity baseball and I knew everyone's names, their numbers, and the positions they played. Matt something was number five and was the catcher. He walked with a very straight back.
5. I played golf, soccer, and volleyball in high school. two years for each sport. I was the setter for volleyball, a fullback for soccer, and I went to state in golf. I cried during that tournament and couldn't even see the ball through my tears. The other girls I played with were like, "Are you OK??"
6. I hate talking on the phone. If you ever call me, and I don't answer, chances are I didn't feel like answering. Please just text. :) I LOATHE IT!
