Here I go again

on my own...goin' down the only road I've ever known...

I don't have a ton to do during the day. I work part-time from the comfort of my own home (that means I'm often in my underpants and looking fugly), I mom full-time, and that's about it. So I have found crafting blogs. Have you heard of So You Think You're Crafty? (If not, you should check it out.) Well, I started following some of her crafters, and I have a billion things to do now. One thing was to dye fabric. So I did. A onesie and a sweater. Then I put an L on the onesie for my cousin's baby. (I doubt he or his wife will look at this between now and Sunday. Or ever.) Don't look closely, but I'm kinda proud of this one. It was probably the first time I used a zig zag stitch.

You should check out these blogs (mostly their tutorials):

Crazy fun that one is. Dana at Made is charming and is sweet to comment back at you. There is also So You Think You Can Decorate, which should be fun and interesting. Thanks for the blog advice again, got it figured out. I'll be checking in.

I love it. Those scraps of fabric have come in handy. She'll look cute in it. You need to quickly learn how to make a head band to match.......
